Springfield Public Schools will kick off the 2026-27 school year with a Convocation program on Friday, August 21 at 9:30 a.m.
Convocation brings the SPS community together to celebrate the start of a new school year and renew our shared commitment to the students and families of Springfield. This year’s program will feature student and staff voices, district leadership, and special moments that reflect the talent, pride and belief found throughout Springfield Public Schools.
Families, community partners, and members of the public are invited to join us virtually and share in the celebration.
